Booking Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. Your booking and payment for a holiday constitutes acceptance of them.
PAYMENT
The contract for a short-term holiday rental shall be made between the client and Mike & Tina Le Clercq, subject to the following booking conditions: -
PAYMENT
A deposit of 30% of the rental is payable on booking. Provisional bookings are held for 4 working days only. The balance of the rental is payable 56 days prior to arrival. For bookings made less than 8 weeks in advance, the total amount is payable on booking. Payment by BACS or by cheque, and should be made payable to ‘M. Le Clercq’ and sent to Mr. M. Le Clercq, Cleveland, Pound Street, Lyme Regis, Dorset. DT7 3JA. Any payment received automatically acknowledges and accepts the booking conditions.
SMOKING POLICY
Clients are reminded that villa 20-20 is non-smoking.
CARE OF PROPERTY
The client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its contents, furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and condition and in the same truly clean and tidy condition at the end of the hire period as at the beginning. Although the client might not be charged for minor breakages (e.g. glasses), the client is responsible for all damage or breakages. We reserve the right to charge for any breakages or for any additional cleaning that may be required if the villa is not left in a clean state.
PERSONAL INJURY & LOSS OF CLIENT PROPERTY
The client or members of his/her party cannot hold Mike & Tina Le Clercq responsible for injury sustained or the loss or damage to any belongings during their stay at Villa 20-20. We accept no liability for accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by any residents, their family, visitors, animals, vehicles or personal effects however caused.
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
If for any reason a villa is not available or has been rendered unsuitable for holiday letting (e.g. water damage/fire damage) on the date booked, we will offer alternate accommodation or alternate dates, or offer a refund of all monies paid by the client. There shall be no further claim against Mike & Tina Le Clercq.
ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
In addition to the terms and conditions stated here, there may be specific terms and conditions which apply to the facilities at Villa 20-20 such as those concerning the use of the swimming pool. These will be in the information folders, and constitute part of these general Terms & Conditions.
